I like the ESV. I have been a NKJV and NASB guy from the beginning of my walk with Jesus. Since I'm a missionary/evangelist, accuracy of the Word is important. When I just want to soak in the Word, this works. Mr. Johnston's voice is big and dramatic. It's a bit much at times, but that's OK. Enjoy!

Good, clear diction and a straight-forward reading. Not overly dramatic, nor monotone. Has been great for study -- ESV Mp3 has replaced my music as my iPod playlist of choice during workouts, long drives, and yard work. Good work.

A real help

It's really encouraging to read along with the Audio Bible. you feel like you are not alone, you hear some word you'd have skipped while reading on your own. God bless all the people working on this program to make this coaching available to all.

Easy to Listen To

This is my first experience with the ESV bible and I was very happy with the translation. Stephen Johnson does a very nice job of narrating and is easy to listen to. Loading this on my iPod was easy and I can take it anywhere.
