NIV Dramatized Audio Bible on 64 Audio CDs

Without a doubt, this has been the best thing I have ordered for myself. The voices and music make the Bible come to life. I have a hard time comprehending what I read and my eyesight isn't what it used to be. This has been a tremendous blessing. THANK YOU!!!!

I am new to reading the Bible and new to a Bible study group. After reading a couple of chapters, then listening to the CD, it helps me to remember what I've read. The CD allows me to listen while cooking or taking walks and helps me to VISUALIZE the writings. The reading is excellent!

We ordered the Dramatized NIV Bible on CD for my sight impaired sister. She loves it and listens to it every day. It was delivered to her door two or three days after we placed the order. We did not need to know anything before purchase as I already owned a set of the CD's.

My son does a lot of traveling in his car and I thought, what a great present to give him for his birthday...an audio Bible. He has shared that he wants to get to know the Bible better so now he can listen as he drives and learn and be challenged and encouraged in his Christian life.

I wasn't sure I would like the dramatized version but really do. I enjoy listening to it while following along in my bible.

Reading a regular Bible is great for in depth study. But listening to the Bible, especially this version with sound effects and what not, is great for a much quicker overview and refresher on the stories and events. You just sit back and soak it in! It's awesome! And what a great gift!

i looked at all the ones i could find. this is the only one that will not put you to sleep. NIV is a ok. i wish they would make it in NABS Dramatized. like they did here.

I Love theses Cd's on the Bible, I was never taught the old testement which is the foundations of the Lord being with creation. I would highly recommend the set of CD's.

I drive 150 miles to and from work; that's 3 hours in the car. These CD's how been the best way to hear the Word of God and his love for us that I've ever found. I can get his Word and message everyday! You must get this collection! I've gotten more out of it than any other purchase.

I have both the following Using Mp3 (6 disks) and (34 disks) in the NIV translation. This is a goal that I had for years to get. And they are both with Music Back ground which I belive that settles the inter calmness and my opens my spirit. Just listening word disk are boring to me.

I have a hour drive to work and home, I listen to a new CD every day, I can get the word in me on my way to work and it helps my walk with the Lord.

I listen to the Dramatized NIV Bible all the time as I get ready for the day, get ready for bed or in the car. I sometimes listen to a chapter over and over to meditate on it. I don't get tired of it because of the drama and music. I also use it in my Sunday School class with children.

I truly believe what Paul says in Romans that faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ. I have loaded the entire bible in all our Ipods to encourage the family to constantly listen.

I listened to this set of CD's for over a year and then gave it to my son who's attending seminary. Changing all of those CD's got tiring, so I purchased the ESV MP3 4 CD set and loaded it on my iPod Nano and listen to that instead. The dramatized voice of King David in Psalms is annoying.

I love the Bibles but don't get as much time as I would like to do study. I spend a lot of time in my car durring working hours. Since I purchased my Bible on CD I get a lot of time to listen/ rewind/listen. This method of study has greatly increased my overall understanding, and created a hurst.

A joy to listen to. I got this as a gift for someone and they listen to it every day without fail. It has made a huge impact on their life.

I am now able to spend 1-2hours a day in the word of God as I drive to and from work. Compared to only 10-15 minutes a day, before purchasing the CD's. The CD's come in a durable case and the CD's are clearly labled and tracked so you can quickly go to a particular chapter or verse. I love them.

I like the product and it makes reading some hard chapters easier. The various voices and sounds help keep you interested. They only thing I find negative about the CD set is the number of CD's involved and having to change them out often to continue.

I purchased the dramatized NIV Bible to use with my class of 3rd-6th graders. We are studying the book of John and it has been wonderful to have the Bible for the kids to listen to and follow along in their own Bibles. They love the way the Bible is read and they listen more attentively.

Excellent narration which grips your attention. The package can be made less bulky though, I feel.

This version is not distractingly dramatized, but is easy to listen to and realistic. Voices are expressive, but not overacted. I experience the scenes, history, and events as if I am there, and listening has given me an added dimension to my bible study. Also important is pace. This does not drag.

Im so happy with this product. It makes hearing the word of God even more of a blessing than it already would be. I love that the different characters have distinct voices, it helps keep it all from getting confusing. This has been a real blessing.

I bought this so my mom could listen. She is legally blind and has some difficulty hearing. The voices are distinct and the background sounds do not overpower so you can still understand what is being said. She is 90 and loves to listen to the CD's. I love listening to them in the car.

This audio bible makes learning easy and interesting. It's great if your always on the go and you don't really much time to sit and read. Character voices are easy on the ears, and great for listening at bedtime.

Was not much of a reader prior to getting the NIV Audio Bible, but must admit this has made me a constant reader when I listen to the CD and follow along in the Bible. I seem to get a better understanding of what is being said in the Bible. Would highly recommend this to many none readers!

Great way to lisen to the bible when you are on the go. I especially like the dramatized portions. The only dry part is listening to Paul as he is the only voice you hear. Otherwise I would recommend to anyone!

My wife & I are listening & reading through the BIBLE in a year. What an experience this is,doing it together. As we study GODS word we also have BIBLE study once a week with friends. Over the last 2 years I have bought at least 7 sets of the dramatized NIV Bible. The CDs have brought the books of the bible to life, creating for me and my children a real connection to God and His word. We listen to the CDs in car, and so they get to hear God's word an know that He is there.

It has been 9 months since I purchased my first audio bible and I haven't been able to put it away. I stared listening all the time in my car and at home, sometimes for long hours. I now know that His word resounds in my heart and in my mind. I have fallen in love with The True Living God.

Growing up i always used King James Version Bible, so this version is a little different,Still over all exactly what i wanted and just a bit better than i expected.I Deffinately recomend this product.I plan on ordering Dramatized KJV soon.

I am so happy to have this product. Early Christians could not have dreamed of the access we have to God’s Word and His Will. There were a few flaws with my copy (warbled sections) but not enough to make me return it. I am just so grateful that I can have this. I want to buy this for my mom.

The dramatitzed bible cds are wonderful. I love the background music because it makes the stories in the bible come to life. I have tried to read the bible but would loose my train of thought but with the dramatized bible the word of God is much easier to understand.

The voices and reading of the word on the CDs are really beautiful I listen to them daily I listen to at least 12 CDs daily I am still in the Old Testament and have a few CDs that skip but little things are not worth complaining about Thank you for asking my opinion

I recently ordered the audio bible for my mother.shes getting older and having problems with her eyes. She was so appreciative and moved by the beautiful voice which allowed her to not only continue along with her bible but it restared the whole experience.Thank you for allowing her some comfort.

I love listening to the audio Bible as I read the book itself. The audio helps me concentrate on the written word and it keeps me reading at an enjoyable pace. I enjoy the dramatized version as my Bible does not have the words of Jesus in red, and the different voices brings it alive.

Great addition to reading the Bible

This item was a gift for a friend of mine. He was having a problem falling asleep reading his bible. Now he is listening to scripture every day, in his car, at work and at home. He has grown spiritually in the last few weeks and has a closer relationship with God because of this audio Bible.

Very good tool to spread the word of God as well as to keep it in your heart. Makes it easier to understand the Bible especially for people who need to hear it spoken. If you learn better hearing different voices this may not be the right audio bible for you.

Since we have this audio CDs, our family including my children listen to the word of God and have enjoyed every moment of it. We can listen to it everywhere at home or play it in the car while travelling. Great to have the word of God with us everywhere and anywhere.

Just what I expected. the dramatization helps to get a feel of the of what is going on. The different voices let the characters come to life and makes it easier to distinguish who is talking. I listen to a one narrator cd and did not like it as well.

I haven't had time to listen to much yet, since I'm remodeling my home, but I have listened to some, and I'm very impressed. The CDs are very compactly stored in a handy, attractive zippered case, and the options for searching on the CDs are great. I plan to listen to these while on road trips.

We are enjoying this product, however, were a bit disappointed while listening to Psalms. We were hoping for more musical background and the voice is not as easy listening as some of the other books are. All in all, we are happy with this investment.

The young man (25 yrs) this bible was purchased for has CP and cannot hold a book for reading. A Catholic priest friend bought this bible for him. He has enjoyed it immensely. I have listened to a small portion of the Old Testament and really like the dramatization/reading of the scripture. Well done

although this Bible is very interesting with slight background effects, a couple of the readers read wayyy to fast like they have a time limit. If you are trying to absorb what they are saying, it is quite difficult.

I bought an audio bible for my mom, and she has already been giving it rave reviews. She pops it into the CD player, and there it is...she can now listen to the bible while meditating, showering, cooking, etc. It is become a part of her life instead of a chore, and we both appreciate that.

I find it a very good learning aide. It has allowed me to listen to the word while doing other thing, study the Word without worry about how to pronouce it correctly. I have found the NIV dramatised audio Bible to be very versatile, I can listen to it while I am driving, working about the house or working on the computer. It has been most effective when I sit quietly doing nothing and can allow my imagination to draw me in as one of the characters in the story.

I like the audio bible for traveling long trip and just around the house it a good way to get the hold Bible in and for studying Sunday school lessons you can just pick what you want to lesson to make it clear an understanding better.

Very well produced but after a while of listening, found myself being distracted by the music and listening to that instead of what was being said although I liked the different voices. I am now ordering the Voice only production as it is good to listen to the Word of God.
